About the company 

Taylor St Baristas is a speciality coffee business with Australian roots based in London. We are a small, fast growing company with 9 locations, a great reputation and an awesome brand.

Hopefully many people reading this will have visited one or two of our cafes as we are city-focused! 

We are extremely passionate about what we do; we love coffee and we love cafes.

We are searching for a high-performing individual who will be an exceptional Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing our business and its unique culture. The successful candidate will form an integral part of the leadership team.

Our team is an extremely friendly collection of coffee lovers and hospitality professionals and you will have a key role in encouraging and developing a working environment that is positive, cooperative and customer driven on a larger scale. You will support and encourage the staff to feel ownership for 'their' shop and the business. To achieve this, you will have proven leadership experience & phenomenal communication skills.

Key responsibilities

This is by no means a comprehensive list - but it should give you some idea of the most important parts of the job

  • Managing the logistics of a multi-site business
  • Coordinating training of staff
  • Tracking and measuring performance metrics through implementation of systems
  • Developing company documentation and procedures  
  • Working closely with the Head of food and Head of coffee 
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications, 
  • Developing relationships with suppliers and in product buying decisions
  • Working closely with store managers on store operations 

We are looking for someone who is motivated, loves food and coffee and has a track record of success in their field do join a business that we are passionate about - and hope you are too.
