How much you achieve in life should not be determined by how much your parents earn. Yet in the UK, it too often is. We are a top charity working with like-minded people and organisations towards a day where every child has the education they are entitled to.

The Role

As Network Engagement Manager, you will bring together and empower a network of engaged individuals who are taking action on their own and collectively to end inequality in education. You will take the lead on setting the vision and strategy for network engagement across the organisation with a focus on the initiation, management and maintenance of community-led networks and community-generated content.

You will be responsible for increasing network engagement offline and digital engagement online for a growing community of participants and alumni which will hit the 17,000 mark by 2022. As the expert in the team, we’ll look to you to increase awareness and understanding of meaningful engagement across the organisation and influence engagement practices across Teach First. You’ll join a high-performing team and work closely with the Community Impact Director and Associate Director of Networks with line management responsibility for three.

We’re looking for someone with exciting big ideas – an expert in community engagement who knows what channels will/won’t work and responds to challenge well. You should have proven experience using digital platforms with a successful track-record increasing engagement and developing strategic plans. Above all else, you’ll need a genuine interest in addressing social inequality and contributing to the creation of a movement for social change. We’re interested in receiving applications from people across all sectors – private, charity and think tanks.
