The programme was developed in partnership with four of the UK’s most forward-thinking organisations: ARK, The National College, Teach First and Future Leaders.

Communications Manager

Teaching Leaders is looking for a dynamic Communications Manager who will help grow the brand and raise awareness of the work the charity is doing with middle leaders in challenging schools.

ABOUT

Awareness of Teaching Leaders is rapidly increasing and has great potential to increase further. We are looking for a Communications Manager who will harness the energy of a dynamic, growing organisation and work with the External Relations Director to raise the profile of the charity further.

Following a recent brand review, Teaching Leaders has refreshed its materials, website and approach to marketing.  The Communications Manager will act as ‘brand guardian’ ensuring that all communications leaving the organisation are consistent and follow our brand guidelines. Other key responsibilities in this role will be working with the External Relations Director and the School Relations Managers on: PR, social media, Teaching Leaders materials, recruiting new cohorts of middle leaders for the TL Fellows programme, the website and work with our partners such as Teach First and Future Leaders.

The role will be stimulating and involve significant variety and challenge. We are energetic, innovative and collaborative in our approach to communications and welcome fresh input.  Candidates must be computer literate, have excellent communication skills and be confident, outgoing and self-motivated.
