This role requires an articulate and highly personable
candidate. You will work closely with Senior Management to identify and develop
new business opportunities. Ideally you will have experience within the
Incentive Travel industry, but this is not essential.
You will have had experience in and be expected to:
research and identify new potential clients, make calls from the company’s
databases, carry out targeted email and DM campaigns and undertake
entertainment in order to develop client relationships.
You will have a proven track record in generating
business from scratch and attending face-to-face meetings in order to build
lasting relationships. You will have the drive and initiative to help grow a
client base and have the confidence to handle every aspect of the sales
process, from finding and making initial contact with a prospective new client
to establishing sufficient confidence to generate a brief and then responding
effectively to this.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Management Team to assist in the development and execution of the company’s sales and business development strategy
- Assist with marketing analysis and research to establish new potential clients
- Manage a database of existing contacts and develop additional contacts from marketing activity
- Create and implement effective marketing and business development strategies for the purpose of seeking out new business in all relevant sectors
- Act as a central point of contact for the team’s daily business development activities
- Present the company’s services to potential new clients, using a tailored approach to ensure maximum client relevance
- Raise awareness of the Company and its services through relationships with key suppliers in the industry and by attending key industry events
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven ability to develop and implement marketing, business development and sales strategies and ability to demonstrate knowledge of the sales processes
- High level of self motivation and the ability to work to targets without supervision
- Strong client relationship management and commercial negotiation skills
- Extremely well presented, organised and motivated
- Personal credibility and confidence to challenge and influence
- A confident, persuasive and sensitive communicator, able to negotiate with clients at a senior level

- A natural builder of long term business relationships
- Computer literate
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Overseas to meet clients and attend other relevant events both inside and outside normal office hours
