The Mince Pie Project 2013 is almost here, and we’re looking for a motivated food loving volunteer to join the team for 4 weeks in the run up to Christmas.  You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks across all parts of the project, and play a key role in making this years project happen.

The Mince Pie Project is an annual mince pie auction, featuring 100 of the UK's best chefs and restaurants, including Michel Roux Jr, Raymond Blanc and Angela Hartnett.  We've raised almost £40,000 for charity since 2011 and been featured on BBC One, Channel 4 and Radio 2 and in The Sunday Times, The Guardian & the Evening Standard.

Your responsibilities:

  • Liaising with chefs involved in the project
  • Supporting the chef photo shoot and launch event
  • Coordination of delivery of our mince pies
  • Helping us spread the word about the project

The person:

  • Degree from a top University
  • Recent graduate or experienced hire looking for a new opportunity
  • Passionate about food and restaurants
  • A motivated, self-starter

You’ll be part of a small team of food lovers put together to run the project.  The role is perfect for someone making their first move into food & drink, entrepreneurship or social impact, and someone looking for a fun and worthwhile project to be involved in in the run up to Christmas.
