We're an exciting social enterprise (constituted as a charitable incorporated organisation) looking for somebody who can help mentor us in sound financial management.

The Restart Project empowers people to use their electronics for longer by helping them repair and learn repair skills. The time has come for us to take back control of our electronics and reduce electronic waste. We run free community events, but we are also sponsored to lecture, run trainings and workshops in educational institutions, libraries and beyond.

The founders have achieved a great deal on a shoestring - with small grants and donations - but now we are in a phase of growth and we need some mentoring in financial management and business planning. We have an ambitious vision, to achieve real impact by helping people change their behaviour at a large scale.

Your support at this moment can make a critical difference.

From a mentor, we'll need help setting up financial systems that can grow with us, and also refine our business plan as we increase the number and frequency of our paid services.

If you have experience with setting up financial and accounting systems, and with business planning - we need you!

We imagine a volunteer mentor working with us at our office in Somerset House a couple of hours a week during the autumn. (This could even be after the work day.)
