Reporting to the Curator of Public Programmes, the Programme Producer will be responsible for managing the execution and delivery of The School of Life’s Public Programme.

With a strong creative eye, you will ensure that all parts of the programme are delivered on time and to budget, and with the detailed care that is given to all TSOL live experiences. This includes the stage management of live events on the ground as well as production of any supporting materials.

As a public face and key representative of TSOL, you will be highly personable, professional and responsive.  The role also requires you to be observant, flexible, extremely well organised and energetic.  You will also be responsible for managing a team of assistants and suppliers, and will act as the main liaison for speakers, tutors and programme participants.

You will also actively support and assist with the curatorial process, working closely with the Curator of Public Programmes and taking on special projects as needed.  You may also lead on curating some aspects of the programme, depending on your experience and expertise.

You will assist with the marketing and promotion of public programme, and manage the content for the programme website pages and social media archive, as well as the design and production of programme materials in line with brand guidelines and budgets.

You are likely to have gained your experience as an event producer or programme manager in the cultural, hospitality, arts or educational sectors. Whatever your background, you will share our passion and will be excited by the opportunity to apply your experience in a world-renowned organisation that plays an important role in educating, informing and inspiring the public about lifelong learning and the power of culture to transform lives.
