The Second Half Centre is a registered charity(Reg 1141988) based in the NHS St Charles in W10. Our aim is to tackle isolation by creating a stimulating and vibrant programme for the over 50s where members can find purpose,continue learning, exercise, volunteer, and stay connected to their community. All applicants need to have a good university degree, be a self starter,and have good writing and computer skills. Pay is negotiable with experience.

We are looking for someone to take on the role of Centre Co-ordinator at our beautiful centre in St Charles' Centre for Health and Wellbeing. This position requires excellent organisation and interpersonal skills. Successful applicant will be expected to write press releases and cultivate media contacts as well as providing support for the Manager in the general running of the Centre. 

The position also requires great IT skills and design initiative; this means coming up with original ideas for outreach leaflets, newsletters and flyers to promote the Centre. Eligible candidates will therefore have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Powerpoint, all of which will be essential for producing the necessary publicity materials. We are also looking for confident candidates who are interested in co-ordinating volunteers,organising fundraising events and doing outreach to promote the Second Half Centre.
