The Shaftesbury Partnership is a delivery partner for Big Venture Challenge, supporting a hundred social entrepreneurs over the next three years to develop effective and strategic networks, building on our own experience of growing social ventures by working with stakeholders from across sectors. In 2012-13 we will be working with three cohorts of ten entrepreneurs; one cohort will be focussed in the North West, one focussed on the health sector, and one will be open to all regions and sectors.

The Networking Specialists’ primary role will be in the delivery of this work, taking responsibility for coaching social entrepreneurs in their networking and facilitating their access to networks, supporting our coordination of ‘impact networks’ for the entrepreneurs, and contributing to networking events and workshops. A part time or full time position is available; we are open to candidates who wish to combine the role with a portfolio of activities. We would welcome candidates from a broad range of backgrounds.
