The team behind the The Yacht Week are looking to hire a talented Graphic/Web Designer. The role will be focused on assisting the marketing team in design, B2B/B2C and the development of our brands, which include The Yacht Week, Yachts and Friends, The Ski Week, Skipper Academy, The Yacht Week – Corporate Edition and Fort George.

Candidates need to show good initiative and creativity when designing graphics and editing photos in Adobe Photoshop; good knowledge in Illustrator and InDesign; good knowledge in HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript; good brand awareness, project management, keeping to deadlines and fluent in both written and spoken English.

The Role
The candidate will work on:
  • Producing full layouts (typographic, photographic and illustrative elements) and final production assets for micro-sites, website user experience and optimization tests, online banners, emails and print advertising.
  • Create the visual identity for multi-channel campaigns.
  • Define full-cycle user experience as it connects marketing efforts to product strategy.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy by conducting design research and proposing design ideas for marketing and advertising concepts.
  • Take on ad hoc design projects as needed.
  • Express design ideas through sitemaps, userflows and wireframes.

Work Environment
The role will start immediately as soon as a successful candidate is found. You will be based in The Yacht Week office in Fulham, London and be required to work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. We are a
young, fun, creative team of ten people who know how to have a good time. There will be opportunity to travel around the world to amazing events and to learn new skills via education channels.
