This role is for someone to facilitate the tourism project alongside the local Tribewanted team and community from February 2014.

Duration: Minimum 4 months
Dates: February - June 2014


Description & Responsibilities

  • Assist in booking, logistics and management of visiting tribe-members and eco-tourists
  • Supporting local Community Manager 
  • Co-ordinating visitors accommodation, activities and projects
  • Weekly reporting to Tribewanted
  • Engaging Tribewanted visitors and members in projects


You will work alongside and support the local Tribewanted John Obey management team and be given guidance and support from the Tribewanted Board.

This is a voluntary position with delicious food and beach-side accommodation provided at Tribewanted at John Obey. You will be responsible for travel expenses and insurance.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills & lots of patience
  • Experience living and working in a country similar to Sierra Leone
  • Project management or eco-tourism experience
