Global Treehouse Foundation

Founder Director of Global Treehouse Foundation

Ambitious leader required, looking to apply their entrepreneurial mindset to the creation of demonstrable social good.

Global Treehouse Foundation is a brand-new organisation. It grows out of a major, multi-year research programme by Imperial College London’s Global Health Institute (report embargoed for launch in the early Summer 2022) into the state of children’s palliative care globally and the existing

innovations and potential for innovation that exist in this space.

21 million children around the world live with life threatening or life limiting conditions, yet 65 percent of the world’s countries have no access to paediatric palliative care, and in those that do it is often underfunded and with limited capacity to develop new care or business models.

Global Treehouse Foundation has been launched to spur investments into additional, innovative children’s palliative care services, support existing providers to innovate, and advocate children’s palliative care as a dynamic new front in health innovation.

To lead this initiative, we seek an entrepreneurial and dynamic Founder Director who will create the organisation, establish its core functions and lead it through the early years from start-up to an internationally recognised hub of expertise on innovation and standard-bearer for excellence in children’s palliative care.

The accomplished and experienced leader who will form and build this dynamic and impactful organisation will be supported by an engaged founder board of trustees, welcomed into the sector networks that have come together around the Imperial research report and housed within the Greenwood Place community in Somerset House.
