FP&A Analyst

Due to high growth within the company, we are looking to grow our Strategic Finance team to help us provide financial insights and support across all areas of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Analyst who is looking for a varied and interesting role in Europe’s largest equity crowdfunding platform. This job can be based in our London, Exeter, Cardiff or Manchester offices with flexible remote working.

What you will be doing:

You will be working within the Strategic finance team to provide key insights and accurate reporting used to drive decision making across the business.

Day to day you will:

  • Update the monthly short term and long term forecast models for both cash and P&L

  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly management reporting and management decks

  • Support wider accounting department with month end processes

  • Update various tracker files for sales outputs

  • Assist with implementing new and improved FP&A processes as well as stream line existing processes for efficiency

  • Ad hoc requests to support the Commercial Finance and wider business with any ad hoc financial needs

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.

  • At least one year commercial experience in an FP&A role

  • The ability to think critically and solve problems

  • Part/Newly qualified CIMA or equivalent

Ideally you will:

  • Have professional experience preferably in a financial context

  • Have SQL skills (nice to have, but not essential)

  • Have knowledge of data visualisation tools (desirable)

And will be:

  • A great communicator and team player

  • Eager to learn and demonstrate initiative

  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing business

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager and a task, followed by a final interview with other members of the team. There aren't any trick questions and the task will typically be based on a real scenario the team have worked on.
