Head of Sales.

Sustainable and award-winning tea company seeks Head of Sales.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to drive outreach to companies, work closely with food service providers and caterers, and secure deals. You are a driven implementor who loves getting stuck into whatever is necessary to create tangible results. You are ambitious, passionate and strategic, and care deeply about social impact and sustainability.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Sales & Business Development:

  • Quickly build our outbound sales pipeline using your existing food-service contacts
  • Create a database of high-quality leads, identifying the right person within an organisation to approach
  • Help develop further our go-to-market strategy
  • Self-generate, qualify and nurture prospects from first conversation to client acquisition
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to plan and deliver sales strategy, metrics and reporting
  • Meet monthly / quarterly sales targets
  • Actively manage all existing and new clients.

Work experience:

  • You have a minimum of 4-years experience in Sales within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • You have a track record of developing and implementing B2B sales strategies and achieving or exceeding targets
  • Have experience in working closely with food service providers such as Compass, Sodexo.
  • Have links or experience in working with food-distributors
  • You are an effective communicator and are at ease presenting to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Mission driven with genuine interest and passion for NEMI’s mission
  • You are entrepreneurial, comfortable with start-up life and are happy to get involved in whatever needs doing to move the company forward.

Preferred experience:

  • Food service experience, including experience selling to food-service operators, restaurant groups and distributors in the UK
  • Experience growing a new brand in UK market

Commitment: Full-time - 5 days per week, minimum 3 days in the office.

Salary range: £40,000-£50,000 base salary + performance-based commission
