Head of Talent Solutions

  • Up to £80,000/annum, depending on experience, plus bonus

About Arrival

Arrival Education is a leading Diversity & Inclusion consultancy business within the UK.  We have 20 years of experience in delivering diversity and inclusion and social impact solutions for leading organisations.

Within the business, we have a new emerging Talent Solutions function which specialises in working closely with a portfolio of clients to attract diverse talent into their organisation.  In addition to the recruitment offering, we also provide mentoring, coaching and training solutions to support both the candidate and the organisation, to ensure they are set up for success.  

Our unique selling proposition within Talent Solutions is that we will form a long term partnership with both the organisation, to support them in their diversity and inclusion journey and with the candidate to coach and mentor them in developing their career and help set them on the path to continued success.

About the Role

The Head of Talent Solutions will build and create this exciting new business within Arrival.  This is both a highly commercial and a hands-on role and the successful candidate will be required to work at pace to deliver an ambitious growth strategy.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Manage, lead and inspire a growing team 

  • Build and create the Talent Solutions function and business

  • Create and develop products, modules and programmes which support our clients and candidates and ensure long term success

  • Deliver a fantastic client and candidate experience, as well as championing our talent network

  • Deliver new business development and effective client account management to deliver the overall budgeted income revenue and profitability for this business unit

  • Manage and ensure seamless candidate attraction, engagement and coaching/mentoring when candidates are successfully placed

About the Person

We are looking for a strong Head of Talent Solutions who is:

  • A natural and proven leader

  • Able to successfully deliver at pace in a start-up environment

  • Commercially aware and results driven

  • A self-starter and highly motivated

  • Flexible in their approach and keen to be hands-on

  • Proven ability to take a concept, turn it into a credible client offering and take it to market themselves and through their team  

  • Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders at C-suite level

  • Experienced in sales, business development and account management 

  • Experienced in generating sales leads, engaging with clients and closing deals

  • Passionate about our agenda

This role is remote based and will involve travel into London and to clients as and when required.

In return, we are offering a highly competitive salary of up to £80,000/annum (depending on experience) for this role with an attractive bonus scheme which will be based on business results.

About the Recruitment & Selection Process

In terms of the application process, we accept applications via Applied, a recruitment system which enables blind hiring.  The application process will involve completing four competency based questions.  These questions will both give candidates the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding around what we are looking for and will also allow us to review the answers and rate each candidate fairly before reviewing their CV.

For candidates shortlisted, the interview process will consist of the following stages:

  • Initial screening interview with the Head of People and Head of Operations

  • Interview with the Co-Founder overseeing the Talent Solutions function

  • Final interview with the other Co-Founder of the business
