Certification Officer - Textiles

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on the processor team. This role will be specifically working within the textiles and food sector.

About the opportunity

The role is focused on managing the organic certification of our clients, reviewing inspection outcomes, product information and labelling, and answering any general queries. Based in the Soil Association office in Bristol, with some travel expected to conduct account visits, accompany inspections and attend events.

About you

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work on the processor team. This role will be specifically working within the textiles sector and will see you working with businesses right across the supply chain from importing, manufacturing, wholesaling, storage and retail. You will have with experience in a quality or technical role within the textiles industry or be a graduate from a textiles/clothing degree bachelors degree, with excellent organizational and administrative skills. The ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential as is the ability to prioritise your own workload. Good customer service skills are essential.

Hours

37.5 hours per week

Fixed Term - 14 month contract

Location

Bristol/Hybrid - 2 days office based per week
