Subscription e-bike company seeks marketing superstar to power our mission of changing the way the world moves for good.


Transport accounts for 27% of the UK’s total greenhouse gas emissions. UK air pollution (separate to greenhouse gas emissions) causes over 40,000 early deaths every year and is now a public health emergency. These are global issues thatCOP26 has shone an even greater light on, reinforcing the need for individuals and businesses to change. DASH exists to bring about this change.

DASH (dashrides.com) is a well-funded and high growth startup that is re-engineering the Cycle to Work scheme through it’s e-bike subscription platform. At no cost and within 5 minutes, DASH enables employers to offer subscriptions to their Employee base. For as little as £29/mth, a DASH subscription consists of a premium brand e-bike (from the likes of Vanmoof, Brompton and Cowboy), insurance, on-demand repairs, lock, helmet and a 400% carbon offset.

The business has been backed by numerous serial entrepreneurs and counts some of the largest Employers in the UK as customers. Over the next 6 to 12 months DASH has a number of market changing product launches in the pipeline, making this a hugely exciting time to join the team.

Working closely with the two founders, Jamie (ex-PwC) and David (ex-JLR), you will be tasked with designing, implementing and refining DASH’s overall marketing strategy.

As one of the company's most important hires, we are looking for someone with the potential to grow quickly with the business and help shape the future.

Given the nature of our business we have both B2B and B2C conversations and this will necessitate flexing the nature and tone of communications whilst remaining true to our core purpose, beliefs and values. 

You will manage a broad and dynamic range of tasks including, but not limited to, the below:

  • Build and implement localised B2B and B2C marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Ensure brand consistency across platforms and communication, including any partner communication
  • Act as a brand champion, continuously evaluating and refining the brand position and identity
  • Oversee the marketing budget whilst tracking all purchase orders, invoices and ROI
  • Deliver accurate targeting and performance analysis across paid and owned channels
  • Manage all social media channels including organic and paid activity across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • SEO optimisation using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Extract, analyse and interpret data insights to make decisions from a position of knowledge
  • Plan and produce dynamic digital content and copy across social media, blogs and email, whilst leveraging emerging technologies to best deliver our brand story-telling
  • Plan and develop internal processes to grow the marketing function effectively

The Candidate

We are looking for:

  • A conscientious self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, happy to work within an early-stage start-up and independently lead the marketing function.
  • Someone who is passionate about sustainability and working to help address climate change.
  • A strategic-thinker who can craft a successful marketing vision for the brand, maximising a strong planning, forecasting and analytical skillset to resolve complex issues with data-driven and effective solutions
  • A candidate that demonstrates a creative flair in the production and deployment of content and campaigns
  • A doer and not just a thinker. Someone who is just as happy putting great plans into action as they are thinking them up in the first place.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • 4-5 years' relevant experience working in fast-growth companies with a strong background in B2B
  • Previous experience in managing and working with a team
  • Experience in the development, management, optimisation and delivery of digital media and CRM campaigns
  • An omnichannel outlook, with a good understanding of the digital media owner landscape including PPC, Programmatic and Social platforms
  • Strong experience managing and optimising organic and paid social platforms with experience generating strong ROI through paid social campaigns
  • A flair for creative content production including the use of Adobe Suites such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro


This role will follow a hybrid working model, with Head Office currently based near Notting Hill.
