Cheesies is a very simple idea: take a block of cheese and turn it into a snack.

Not just any snack. Not a cheese-avoured snack. Not a ball of mystery ingredients that offer the suggestion of a cheese-like substance. A snack that’s made from actual, 100% natural cheese, and literally nothing else.

If we’re getting technical, crunchy baked cheese means cubes of cheese that have been baked to make them crunchy and really, really moreish. Since it’s literally 100% cheese and nothing added, Cheesies have no sugar, no carbs, are high protein, vegetarian and are even gluten-free. Rather mind-blowing if you ask us.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join the team, reporting into our Digital Marketing Manager. This is a very broad marketing role, where you'll get pulled in lots of different directions and each day will look different. It's a great opportunity to learn about all areas of marketing in a startup environment.

You’ll play a critical role in the growth of Cheesies both online and in-store. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that we have outstanding consumer interactions across all channels whether that be on social media, our email inbox, or on-pack and on POS.

What you’ll do:

  • Champion the consumer internally by developing a deep understanding of who they are, why they eat Cheesies, and regularly report back to the team
  • Content creation across all digital channels - this will include web copy, produce email content, ads for digital, photography assets, social and blog posts
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with content upload on the website, landing page creation, Amazon listing updates, creating copy and assets for emails
  • Work with the Sales team to organise and attend both in-store sampling and trade show activity
  • Support the Sales team to deliver trade marketing briefs, working very closely with the freelance digital designer to produce assets for trade marketing campaigns or events
  • Respond to customer service enquiries via social channels and email via our ZenDesk ticketing system
  • Day to day management of brand marketing partnerships being in charge of nding new relevant partnerships for the brand
  • Maintain our Social presence across multiple channels - content creation and publishing across all owned social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Support the wider team by compelling ad-hoc market and competitor research
  • Collect, report and analyse campaign performance, monitoring and ensuring that goals are achieved (budget, conversion rate, brand awareness etc)

Who you are:

  • You have 1-2 years of professional experience in a marketing role - ideally in FMCG industry but it’s not essential
  • You are exceptionally organised and able to manage multiple projects at the same time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating well with people at all levels of the organisation, both internally and externally
  • You’re passionate about writing, with strong editorial skills and a great storyteller, with the ability to produce engaging copy in-line with brand guidelines; Dry wit and humour may come naturally to you
  • You’re renowned for your attention to detail (and you may even be a paid-up member of the grammar police)
  • You have a deep understanding of social media best practices and trends Familiarity with ZenDesk and Canva (or other creative tool) for content creation
  • You’re passionate about FMCG, and you’re excited by the opportunity to build a category- dening brand
  • You’re excited to work in a start-up environment: you’re comfortable adapting quickly to change; self-motivated and proactive; very ready to roll up your sleeves, learn at rapid pace and swim outside your lane when needed.
