👋About us

We’re a market-leading tech company that provides data on the fastest-growing companies in the UK. We’re at a pretty exciting stage right now—we’ve built a profitable, high-growth business, with 130+ employees and an enviable client list. But we’re not done yet. We’re on a mission to become a global data company that helps every organisation discover and work better with ambitious, high-growth companies.

🥖The role

As a Retentions Account Manager, your role will be a perfect blend of building great relationships and hitting targets. This means getting to know your book of around 90 clients personally, asking the right questions & establishing trust to get to the heart of their needs. You'll also be conducting research & meeting people from around your client's business to understand how their company is structured and figuring out how to best integrate Beauhurst.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

🏠 Maximising value: working tirelessly to manage the retention of your book of subscribers (and get rewarded for it)

📈 Understanding subscriber goals: Work closely with decision makers to understand their goals,  and set a clear plan to achieve them, so they stay with us year on year

🧑‍🌾 Building relationships: Maintaining regular contact with your clients via email, on the phone, and in person

❤️‍🩹 Driving customer health: Understanding and proactively working to improve all aspects of customer health

🧑‍🏫 Training our subscribers: Delivering outcome-based platform training to ensure our clients hit their goals

💻 Product and process feedback: Noting down feedback/suggestions from clients around our platform and sharing it with our product development team to help them continuously improve our product.

🎨 Creatively drive coverage: You will have a large volume of customers to manage and will need to explore & develop ways to maximise your and other teams' impact across multiple customers whilst prioritising where you spend time.

👉About you

We welcome a broad array of backgrounds and personalities so there’s no one-size-fits-all with this! As a minimum, you should have 1+ years of hitting individual commercial targets and a strong academic track record.

Ideally, you’ll be:

  • Curious and coachable: Interested in both people and their problems. Keen to continually develop their own skills through feedback and learning from their mistakes.
  • Great communicator: Has high levels of emotional intelligence, understands different personality types, and can explain complex concepts clearly, adjusting language based on their audience.
  • Tenacious and competitive: Highly resilient, organised and willing to explore multiple avenues to help retain and expand subscribers, and is motivated to always try and hit target.
