Volunteer Newly registered charity supporting isolated adults seeks 2nd trustee

What will you be doing?

  We are looking for someone who has a lot of experience helping charities that start small yet become successful and productive in their vision and mission. We are registered with the Charity Commission recently and need a trustee who can assist move the Charity forward at a fast pace.  Thus, we are looking for experience in the charity sector.  The Trustee will not have to be a Christian as we are open to all faiths and have Trustees of other beliefs on our board of Trustees. Also, we do not discriminate and beneficiaries of our charity for the farm trips, talk line & prayer line can be of any faith, race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status or disability and anyone is welcome to ring the Talk or Prayer Lines albeit the prayers will be Christian prayers. Also, a DBS check would be required for any new trustee.

What are we looking for?

You should be a confident communicator; both written and oral skills are key and as important.   If you’ve been part of running your own charity successfully and would like to make a difference to those people who tend to just have a TV as their companion then please be sure to apply. What difference will you make?

As a trustee the help, support and assistance received by yourself will help to progress the charity’s objectives so that beneficiaries will be able to receive the support and service that they deserve and help to curb their social isolation.
