As a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist, your work will span across various production operations ensuring food safety, operational safety, and regulatory compliance. Tasks will include conducting regular internal audits, upholding compliance standards, managing corrective actions, and overseeing safety procedures.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of auditing experience in a food processing environment. Experience with regulatory inspections and third-party audits is crucial, as is supervisory or mentorship experience.

The role: As a Food Safety & Compliance Specialist, you will ensure food safety, operational safety, and regulatory compliance across all production operations. This includes conducting regular internal audits, maintaining compliance with standards such as GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC, and managing corrective actions in case of non-conformances. You will also evaluate safety procedures and equipment to ensure they meet OSHA regulations and our internal safety standards.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of hands-on internal auditing experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment. Experience with regulatory inspections and third-party audits is essential. Supervisory or mentorship experience is also required, as the role involves interaction with junior team members and various stakeholders.
