About Bridge the Gap: Bridge the Gap is a non-profit organisation focused on closing the digital divide by providing access to technology for underprivileged communities. Our mission is to empower individuals through education and technology, ensuring equal opportunities for everyone. Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an HR Lead. In this volunteer role, you will be instrumental in supporting our efforts with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, retention, and leading the HR team. Please note: This is an unpaid volunteer position. However, it provides valuable hands-on experience and the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. We welcome individuals eager to commit their time and skills to make a positive impact. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting volunteers through social media, job boards, and other platforms. Coordinate the induction process for new volunteers, including orientation and training. Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, conducting regular check-ins and addressing their needs. Maintain and update policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Manage exit processes for departing volunteers and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborate with the HR team and other departments to help achieve organisational goals and initiatives.
