- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Desirable: Experience with cloud data warehouses like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery, and a background in FinTech.

Company Description Checkout.com is actively seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Senior Associate in our Treasury Reporting & Analytics department. This pivotal position involves leading our efforts in refining and advancing the way we manage, process, and interpret Treasury data.
The Role The successful candidate will spearhead the development of methodologies for effective data cleaning, comprehensive reporting, and in-depth analysis across various Treasury domains, including prudential (encompassing capital, liquidity, and market aspects) and operational (focusing on payments, reconciliations, etc.). The role demands a focus on scalability, reliability, and efficiency to enhance the operational effectiveness of diverse Treasury stakeholders. In this role, you will engage in an in-depth analysis of intricate data sets, delivering crucial insights to the Treasury leadership and CFO.
Job Requirements As a Senior Data Associate, your responsibilities include the proficient use of interrogation and analytical tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, or Looker. This involves guaranteeing the relevance, precision, and promptness of all reports and dashboards. Collaboration with key Treasury managers is essential to comprehend their specific requirements. You will be responsible for creating and implementing sophisticated queries and data models, primarily utilizing SQL while establishing and upholding industry best practices. An integral part of your role involves addressing and resolving persistent data-related challenges. You will be expected to propose innovative solutions, offer strategic advice, and explore avenues for automation and optimization to effectively navigate and mitigate such issues.
Qualifications This role is ideal for a driven technology enthusiast with a solid understanding of Treasury functions, adept at managing various reporting types and analytical tasks, and skilled in stakeholder communication. The candidate should be committed to supporting Checkout.com's growth and goals through impactful contributions to our clients and internal stakeholders, thriving as a motivated team player. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data, Product, or Business Analyst roles, preferably in the Treasury Department in the FinTech, Payments, or Banking sectors. Proven leadership skills in a dynamic tech start-up environment. Proven Treasury knowledge across prudential and operational domains Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python. Expertise in visualization tools like Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau. Demonstrated experience with large, complex data sets in a data-centric environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative reasoning abilities. Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive approach and creative problem-solving capabilities. Outstanding communication skills, with proficiency in engaging diverse audiences at all organizational levels. Desirable: Experience with AWS Redshift/Snowflake/Google BigQuery, AWS Server, and a background in FinTech.
