- Role Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years in a similar leadership or senior sales role.
- Track record of exceeding expectations in roles like Commercial Director or Head of Sales.
- Over 2 years of experience in a hyper-growth startup environment.
- Proven success in launching and scaling businesses in competitive markets.
- Strong experience in outbound sales of SaaS products to midmarket firms.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, and other sales and prospecting tools.
- Familiarity with Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP is a bonus.

The role of the Country Director will have overall responsibility for the revenue and commercial success of Payhawk across multiple EU countries. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales and work effectively and efficiently to enforce the global strategy, build a team, prioritize key targets, serve as a spokesperson of the business on a case-by-case basis, align with cross-functional departments such as Marketing, Business Development and Customer Success to drive successful outcomes in the region.
Job requirements include at least 7 years of proven experience in a similar role, proven experience of over-achievement in a leadership or senior sales role such as Commercial Director, Head of Sales or General Manager, +2 years experience in a Hyper-Growth Startup, success in launching and scaling a business in a new and competitive territory, experience selling SaaS products to midmarket companies (100-1000 employees) in an outbound motion, and experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Lusha, Kaspr. Experience with the ecosystems of Oracle Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP is considered a plus.
