- Technical leadership in managing client data systems.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.
The Role As the Business Operations Data and Systems Coordinator, you will work with our client data management team to ensure data is correct and is available. You will research and implement system changes to support evolving program needs. You will report directly to the Business Operations lead. Your responsibilities will include technical leadership, data quality checks and reconciliations, and staff and department leadership.
Job Requirements You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information System or other related fields. Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) , SQL or any other data analysis languages like SPSS, R, python etc. You should have analysis, model, interpret and visualize data. Project management skills and previous team management experience added advantage. 2 - 5 years of work experience in data and people management.
