Role Summary:Maintain and advance the Payment Orchestration Platform as part of the ProcessOut Engineering team.Collaborate with Software and Infrastructure Engineers to support and innovate on our core infrastructure and application platform.Ensure high quality and uptime, utilizing AWS, EKS, Go, Redis, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, Postgres, REST, gRPC, and queues.
Role Requirements:At least 3 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 1 year in Go.Proficient with web technologies (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions).Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC.Familiar with deploying applications in a service-oriented architecture.A curious mindset with a willingness to understand diverse systems.

The Role The ProcessOut Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and evolving a Payment Orchestration Platform. This team consists of Software Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers working together to build a core infrastructure and application platform for our merchants and other product teams to use. Quality and uptime are our top priorities. We are hosted in AWS, use EKS and our primary development language is Go. As we always strive to use the best tool for the job, we use a combination of Redis, DynamoDB, CockroachDB and Postgres for the persistence layer, and REST, gRPC and queues for communication.
Job Requirements 3 years of software development experience, including at least 1 year with Go. Know your way around the web-related tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions...). Worked with RESTful APIs and with gRPC. Experience deploying applications as a part of a service-oriented architecture. Curious and unafraid of digging deeper to understand how systems of all kinds work.
