The Cross Product Methodology team at Morningstar Sustainalytics is looking for a collaborative, results driven colleague to strengthen our capabilities. Our role is to ensure consistency across Morningstar Sustainalytics’ methodologies, components, and inputs, enhancing our product suite's quality and client experience.

The Role: You will be responsible for performing statistical analysis on cross product consistency, including change/impact analyses that affect multiple, interconnected products. You will establish, align and improve technical standards that are used in multiple Morningstar Sustainalytics’ methodologies. You will collaborate with thematic experts, product developers, product managers, IT specialists and research analysts on implementing new methodologies or methodological changes.

Job Requirements: We are seeking someone with 5+ years of relevant work experience and a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or related sciences. Strong quantitative skills, including a solid statistical grounding, are essential. Python skills are essential, other data software skills considered an asset. Excellent communication and writing skills are required. Organizational, project and stakeholder management skills are also necessary. General knowledge of sustainability, ESG investment approaches, and sustainability regulation considered an asset. Knowledge of corporate reporting, business models and financial markets considered an asset. Ability to work independently and within a strong team environment is required.
