Role Summary:
- Automate infrastructure and SaaS applications using Terraform and other IaC tools.
- Develop and integrate solutions through scripting and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their infrastructure needs.
- Provide expert guidance on IT solutions and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure automation reliability, security, and compliance.
- Work with vendors to enhance application performance.
- Act as a technical point of contact and deliver IT solutions based on requirements.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and/or Infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in multiple programming/scripting languages (e.g., Scala, Golang, Python).
- Experience with git, CI/CD, and tools like Github, BitBucket, GitLab.
- Knowledge of observability techniques and identity management solutions.
- Advanced skills in managing systems via SaaS solutions like Google Workspace and Okta.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Understanding of Zero-Trust concepts and device-based trust applications.
- Excellent technical documentation and knowledge base writing skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience with network and firewall fundamentals is a plus.
- Familiarity with identity governance administration (IGA) is beneficial.
To uphold the exceptional level of support provided to our employees, we are seeking a skilled Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join Flo Health’s IT team, to bring our IT to the next level of automation. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure and SaaS applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, primarily Terraform. You will work on developing and integrating solutions using scripting and automation to achieve scalable and efficient practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their infrastructure and automation needs. Infrastructure as a code will be your bread and butter. Your role will involve managing and enhancing the IT experience within our application landscape. At Flo Health, we are committed to delivering the best solutions possible.
What you'll be doing
- Engage in planning, designing, developing, and testing systems or applications for software enhancements and new products, which may include cloud-based or internet-related tools.
- Facilitate the creation of solutions considering crucial aspects such as APIs, security, scalability, manageability, and usability, resulting in comprehensive and effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities to minimize technology expenses and complexity, seeking ways to optimize resources.
- Drive continuous improvements, actively participating in projects and service enhancements.
- Provide expert insights into the design of strategic initiatives, ensuring efficiency and reliability at a large scale.
- Ensure all business process automation's reliability, resilience, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors throughout the development, installation, and troubleshooting of application systems and software to enhance the performance of supported applications.
- Fulfill the role of a technical point of contact, delivering IT solutions and applications based on defined architecture and requirements.
- Analyze requirements, conduct tests, and facilitate the seamless integration of application components.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in IT and/or Infrastructure engineering
- Background in multiple programming/scripting languages, e.g., Scala, Golang, C/C++, Python, bash, etc.
- Experience with git, CI/CD and tools like Github, BitBucket, GitLab, etc.
- Understanding of modern observability techniques (metrics, tracing, logging)
- Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, OAuth, and other identity management solutions for SaaS applications
- Advanced skills in managing systems via Google Workspace, Okta Workflow, Jira Automation, Slack, and other industry-leading SaaS solutions.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining Zero-Trust concepts and policy enforcement.
- Experience using Terraform and/or CloudFormation, or any configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Understanding and experience using or deploying device-based trust applications (Okta Verify, Google Beyondcorp, Cloudflare Zero Trust, etc).
- Impeccable technical documentation and KB writing skills.
- Customer-first mindset with an ownership mentality.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members
- Excellent English written and verbal skills.
Nice to have:
- Network and firewall fundamentals
- Familiarity with identity governance administration concepts (IGA).
- Understanding of Information Technology and Security-related best practices to ensure integrity and protection.
