- Role Summary:
- Lead a team of operatives, ensuring high standards of productivity, packing quality, and punctuality.
- Assist in managing department performances and supporting the Production Supervisor.
- Be adaptable to cover various operation areas as needed.
- Address issues proactively and solve problems independently when necessary.
- Possess knowledge to securely open and close the facility if required.
- Role Requirements:
- Excellent people skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Capable of working to deadlines and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in warehouse or production roles is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Computer proficiency for task completion.
- Strong commitment to team collaboration and company values.

Salary will be £12.50ph
Shift pattern will be either Monday - Friday 6:00 - 1:30pm or Monday - Friday 10am - 5:30pm
The role
We are looking for an Senior Production Operative to help us sustain and grow an operation of excellence. You will support the operation supervisor in helping to manage a small team of operatives to deliver department performance productivity, packing quality & accuracy and on time delivery.
As a senior op, your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading by example and showing the speed and quality we expect from all operatives
- Be well rounded in all areas of the operation in case you need to be moved to help cover
- Bringing any issues to the attention of Production Supervisor
- The ability to problem solve if the Supervisor is not around
- Understand how to close and open the building if needed
Requirements
- Strong people skills, ability to motivate and complete the task in hand with your team
- Support the completion of deadlines
- Work to deadlines, enthusiastic and used to a fast paced environment
- Previous warehouse or production experience is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to use a computer to complete tasks
- Strong sense of team working and commitment to our company values
- A positive, get up and go attitude at all times
