- Streamline and improve various Service Desks using Jira Service Management.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to enhance service desk performance and implement best practices.
- Manage and configure Jira and other Atlassian products, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Empower teams with new Jira features and efficient automation techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Jira Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, JQL, workflow setups, Agile Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Effective communication skills and a proven history of IT service development.
- Atlassian certification(s) and experience with IT service integrations are a plus.

Braze’s Jira Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and extending our Atlassian suite. In this role, you will directly affect process implementation, integrate Atlassian products with other internal applications, and drive efficiencies for our organization. You will work with various teams across the organization to provide best practices and automation, to improve each team’s insights into their workloads. You will unlock our team's potential by guiding their usage and implementation of our Atlassian products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Streamline Braze’s Service Desks:
- Renovate multiple Service Desks to Jira Service Management, implementing a standardized landing page and a single queue system.
- Establish a Global Landing Page for multiple Braze teams to centralize these operations, aiming to achieve economies of scale, and standardize metrics and SLA reporting.
- Partner with Braze’s teams on:
- Development and design of processes, automation, workflows, custom fields etc.
- Working with business units to create and improve their service desks
- Prompt issue resolution with Jira and provide and manage Braze’s on-premise Atlassian products
- Configuration and administration of Jira and other Atlassian products.
- Up-level Jira usage at Braze:
- Provide updates to the business users on new features and functionalities.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and other Atlassian products.
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 3 years in Jira Administration, in either Cloud or Data Center environments.
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT services. Demonstrated success in ensuring risk and change management, observability, and maintaining service level objectives.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL
- Strong knowledge of Jira project and workflow setups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of both Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Bonus
- Recent Atlassian certification(s)
- ACP-100: Jira Administration for Data Center
- ACP-610: Managing Jira Projects for Data Center and Server
- ACP-620: Managing Jira Projects for Cloud
- Proven experience integrating services such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, and other standards IT services via their APIs.
- Knowledge of ScriptRunner and Jira Automation plugins
- Experience using Jira’s REST APIs
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $110,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $105,000 and $120,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
