Role Requirements:
- 4+ years of partnership/channel experience in the cloud industry, preferably from a SaaS organization.

- Executive presence with the ability to articulate visions and value propositions.
- Leadership skills to navigate ambiguity and scale initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Braze’s Alloys partner ecosystem includes world class agencies and consultancies that are invested in helping their clients to deliver on the promise of a premium customer experience. They’re trusted advisors to our customers, and play an integral role in acquiring new customers, and retaining and growing our existing customer base.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Partner Associate to sit within our Global Partnerships organization and report into the Director of Global Commercial Service Partnerships in Austin, TX. This experienced partnerships leader will scale and expand on the success of an established agency partner program across the AMER region.
The Senior Partner Associate will evolve the agency alliance strategy and GTM plan. You will acquire and onboard new agency partners, whilst also managing and growing relationships with an existing patch of strategic and long tail agency partners. You will be responsible for driving the development and management of our key strategic Global Partnerships with agencies like Publicis, Merkle (Dentsu), Capgemini as well as many others.
This role works very closely with our Sales & Marketing organization; both our AMER Sales VPs and Directors on our program strategy, as well as our AMER Account Executives on sourcing new business pipeline and influencing revenue via our agency partners. This role is largely measured on quality pipeline generation, executive relationship management and the GTM approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing comprehensive GTM plans with our agency partners, which manifest in quality net new business pipeline
- Supporting the sales cycle alongside our sales teams, from prospecting to deal close, in collaboration with our agency partners
- Advancing differentiated value propositions and specialism with key strategic agency partners, and articulating that story internally at Braze and with our agency partner organizations, and ultimately evangelizing the story in the market
- Ensuring accountability and partnership reciprocity, with measured flow of outsourced Braze implementation and managed services in exchange for net new client opportunities from our agency partners
- Reviewing sales play metrics and effectiveness on a recurring basis with agency partners and Braze leadership. Maintain dashboards that communicate to leadership the effectiveness of GTM sales plays with our agency partners
- Collaborating cross functionally with other Braze departments and divisions, including Tech and Cloud Partnerships, Partner Marketing, Partner Education & Enablement, etc.
- Developing the program with senior leadership to enhance current ways of working
WHO YOU ARE
- 4+ years of partnerships channel and cloud industry experience preferably from a SAAS organization
- Demonstrable proof of producing measurable sourced pipeline and influenced revenue results via a mature SaaS partner program playbook. A strong bias for execution and are motivated by exceeding targets and results
- Deep and proven knowledge of the agency and marketing services ecosystem. Understanding of service offering creation, marketing, lead generation, and professional services organization key performance indicators
- Ideally, experience working for an agency consultancy and intimate knowledge of agency org structure, business dynamics, and effective business case development
- Executive presence and an ability to present and vision sell to Executive audiences
- Ability to lead through ambiguity, take on complex strategic and operational initiatives and scale effectively across a large organization and distributed team
- Strong drive and character qualities that match with Braze Core Values and inspires others to follow and act
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $54,000 and $60,000/yearwith an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between$90,000 and $100,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
