Braze is seeking a highly experienced Country Sales Director to drive our Enterprise business and lead our Commercial sales team in Indonesia. You will be responsible to build an entire Go-to-Market strategy with a direct sales motion, further driving our success and continued investment in this market. You will navigate both large, complex transactions and higher volume transactions, ensuring that business outcomes are consistent and predictable. As the Country Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing new and existing business, achieving country growth objectives, while representing Braze within the local ecosystem of employees, customers, partners, resellers and other stakeholders. Your extensive knowledge of the MarTech landscape in Indonesia will be vital to Braze’s success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and execute a Go-to-Market strategy that aligns with strategic business objectives, focusing on penetration of large enterprises
- Achieve country sales goals, providing accurate sales forecasting to the broader business, and drive sustainable growth for the Indonesian market
- Manage the Commercial sales team and act as a Player Coach to continue developing the team and lead by example
- Work closely with our Partnership team to implement effective partner programs, enabling partners to maximize their potential and contribute to our sales goals
- Contribute as a key driver to the future expansion of Braze in APAC, while developing accurate sales forecasts and budgets
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams including Business Development, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Strategic Consulting and Executives to ensure the successful execution of the FY plan and present a unified vision to customers
- Recruit, nurture, and performance manage a team of exceptional sales professionals
- Act as a proactive representative within the senior leadership team
WHAT YOU HAVE
- A minimum of 12 years of proven experience in SaaS sales, ideally within a technologically complex product environment. You should possess expertise in Enterprise sales, with a consistent track record of exceeding quota and revenue goals
- At least 5 years of experience managing a sales team, preferably in the marketing technology industry
- Deep knowledge of the Indonesian market and experience in successfully launching and growing a business, with a strategic POV on how/what/where to invest
- A strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing sales people
- A deep understanding of the intricacies of the technology landscape across Indonesia, including key markets, effective practices
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Integrations & Onboarding and Sales Operations
- A proven ability to build connections with Executives, industry subject matter experts and various customer profiles
- Up-to-date knowledge of digital and application trends, particularly in the marketing space
- Demonstrated success in navigating large organizations and identifying key decision makers processes for large SaaS investments
- Strong operational and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal, written and stand up presentation skills
