- Role Summary:
- Facilitate enhanced coordination across various teams to execute the Impact Strategy effectively.

- Role Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in strategic management roles.
- A degree in Agriculture, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with complex spreadsheets.
- A background in study design and analysis is preferable.
- A strong enthusiasm for learning and openness to innovative ideas.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.
The Role The Impact Division supports all One Acre Fund programs to generate more impact, wherever we work. It comprises many functions including Agricultural Research, Extension, Agroforestry, MEL, Insurance, Nutrition, and Payments for Ecosystem Services. We are looking for an exceptional collaborator to 1) improve coordination of many different actors to implement our Impact Strategy, 2) increase the reach and effectiveness of Impact Division leadership, and 3) lead strategic research, communications, or operational initiatives. Additionally the Division Manager will represent the Impact Director internally and externally to further increase access to leadership. The Chief of Staff will report to the Global Director of the Impact Division.
Job Requirements We are seeking an impact-oriented professional with 6+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of experience in management roles that required strategic leadership experience. Candidates should have a University (or higher) degree in Agriculture or a related field (e.g. Ecology, Environmental Science). Proficiency in Excel (maintaining complex spreadsheets) required. Experience with study design and analysis preferred. Enthusiasm for learning and an openness to new ideas.
