  • Role Summary:
    • Strengthen relationships with organizations focused on food poverty, waste, and sustainability.
    • Develop and execute an effective communications strategy to highlight MSFP's initiatives.
    • Organize and lead MSFP's network meetings, events, and support programs.
    • Contribute to grant applications and the pursuit of sustainable funding sources.
    • Support the creation of a local food charter and adherence to related policies.

As a part of a passionate team, you'll work closely with local food producers, distributors, and key stakeholders to build partnerships, drive community engagement, and promote sustainable food initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen connections with local organisations addressing food poverty, food waste, and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to raise awareness of MSFP’s work.
  • Arrange and facilitate MSFP's network meetings, events, and peer support initiatives.
  • Lead/assist with grant applications, funding, and sustainable delivery models.
  • Support the development of a food charter and ensure policies are followed.

£15,882 pro rata (£27,071 full time equivalent)
