- Role Summary:
- Provide technical support in talent-related matters to teams in Eldoret and Kisumu.
- Engage in talent operations functions, from administrative support to partnering with business units.
- Work in diverse HR areas including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Focus on learning and development, employee engagement, and health and wellness initiatives.
- Handle office administration tasks with diligence.
- Role Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in an industrial or NGO setting.
- Proficiency in HR operations, contract management, and performance management.
- Membership in professional bodies like IHRM, CHRP-K, SHRM is beneficial.
- Proven track record of supporting field-based teams with empathy and understanding.

Fresh Life is an award-winning social venture headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. We undertake two exciting lines of work: We provide safe, sustainable sanitation services to residents living in urban informal settlements of Nairobi, Kisumu and Eldoret using end-to-end non-sewered sanitation solutions. We partner with cities to develop and deliver safe sanitation and waste management for urban residents.
The Junior Talent Partner will provide technical support on talent-related matters to assigned teams and business leaders in our new cities across Kenya; specifically, you will support teams in Eldoret and Kisumu. This role will cut across both talent operations functions, including administrative support and talent partnering with business units. The ideal candidate will be a HR generalist with 2+ years of experience in an industrial setup.
Duties and Responsibilities include Talent Acquisition and On-boarding, Performance Management, Employee & Industrial Relations, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Health, Wellness and Well-being, and Office Administration.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field of study, 2+ years’ experience as a HR generalist supporting functions such as: HR operations, contract management, administration, employee relations, and performance management practices. Professional body membership is an added advantage: IHRM, CHRP-K, SHRM. Previous experience from an industrial or manufacturing setup, social impact or NGO sector is ideal. Experience in supporting field-based teams with a high degree of understanding and empathy for employees at the ‘shop floor’ level is preferred.
