Application Process Details
- Trustees are required to attend four Board meetings and quarterly People Committee meetings annually.
- Meetings can be attended at our Head Office in Farringdon, London, or remotely.
- The initial term is for 2 years, with the possibility of reappointment for up to 8 years.
Save the Children UK is seeking a Trustee to join our Board and serve as the Chair of the People Committee. This role is crucial as we continue our transformation journey, focusing on our people, culture, and organisational design to enhance our impact on children's lives globally.

You will work closely with the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive, and the Executive Leadership Team. Your role will involve championing our transformation agenda, ensuring alignment with our strategic ambitions, and upholding governance and accountability standards.
Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in People and Culture management, experience in organisational change, and a strategic mindset. Experience in Agile methodologies and effective meeting chairing are also important. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential.
Benefits: While this is a voluntary position, all reasonable expenses will be covered. We support Trustees on low incomes to ensure no barriers to participation.
