We focus on offering bespoke itineraries that deliver prescribed learning outcomes and unique, engaging activities to inspire the next generation of global citizens. The Role: We are seeking a new team member to join us as a Regional Specialist for France on a part time basis. As a Regional Specialist, you will play a vital role in planning and operating our educational tours in France. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the presence of our educational tours in France and increase the volume of schools we bring into the country.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include developing new standard itineraries in France, researching/recommending tour components for upcoming tours in France, completing quote requests for budgets for parties interested in trips to France, potentially guiding tours as an Adventure Leader, supporting with emergencies for tours in France, and assisting the bookings team when needed.
Job requirements: We are looking for a team member who has excellent spoken and written English skills, is fluent in French (native or C2 level), has excellent knowledge of the travel industry in France, has good knowledge of France’s geography and destinations, is a team player, has high attention to detail, is organised and able to balance a reactive workload together with ongoing projects, demonstrates initiative and creativity, has strong writing skills, has a confidence, clear and approachable telephone manner, and is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Terms: This is a part-time role, 1-3 days a week depending on demand and experience of candidate. The role offers flexible, remote working and a competitive day rate. The successful individual will be issued with a consultancy contract and will therefore be required to declare their own tax. The start date is late October / early November 2024.
