Role Summary:
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of new local and alternative payment methods.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, accounting, and treasury teams.
- Develop testing plans and complete provider certifications.
- Set up and troubleshoot payment settlements and reconciliations.
- Analyze and optimize processes to reduce reconciliation breaks.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in financial services or payments processing as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and with remote teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data management skills.
- Adaptability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Initiative to learn and tackle new challenges.
- Familiarity with analysis & BI tools (Excel, Looker, DataDog) and SQL is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
- Indispensable knowledge of the Payments industry.

The Role Local and alternative payment methods (APMs) play a crucial role in helping businesses around the world reach customers in ways that are tailored to each of hundreds of different markets. The payment specialist will play a key role in the end to end delivery for launching new payment methods, as well as in ongoing maintenance. For new payment methods, the Payment Specialist will work with a range of cross-functional teams including engineering, accounting and treasury to lay out testing plans, complete provider certification, set up and troubleshoot settlement reconciliations, analysing and implementing ways to reduce reconciliation breaks.
Job Requirements 3+ years of hands-on Business Analyst or other relevant roles' experience in financial services and/or in payments processing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with motivation to find end-to-end solutions. Ability to work cross-functionally and with remote teams. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets. Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment, with multiple projects and competing priorities. Willingness to take new initiative and continuously learn. Experience with analysis & BI tools is a plus (Excel, Looker, DataDog most commonly, SQL is a nice to have). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Fluency in English, and superb communication skills at all levels. Knowledge of Payments is a must.
