Role Requirements
- Proven experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Sales, or Account Management in tech, e-commerce, payments, or financial services.
- Strong network within the e-commerce or fintech spaces, especially with agency and SI partners.
- Keen understanding of payments or the capacity to learn complex concepts swiftly.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with an emphasis on high emotional intelligence and a blend of humility and humor.
- Self-motivated and organized, thriving in a fast-paced start-up culture.
- Collaborative mindset with a preference for candidates with cross-functional team experience.
- A vital, pre-existing network of e-commerce and fintech partners is crucial.

The Role We're looking for a Manager, Strategic Partnerships to join the Strategic Partnerships team. You'll be responsible for growing our platform partnerships, including the Agency and Systems Integrator (SI) partner ecosystem. Based in Amsterdam and reporting directly to the EU Partnerships Lead, you’ll have ownership over how Checkout.com partners in this critical market and abundant opportunity to grow your scope and career through demonstrated impact.
Job Requirements Experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Sales, or Account Management roles at a technology, e-commerce, payments, or financial services company. Well-connected in the e-commerce or fintech space, preferably with a network of key agency and SI partners. Understanding of payments preferred, or ability to quickly learn sophisticated concepts. Confident in relationship building and public speaking with high EQ and a sense of humility and humour. Able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment: proactive, self-motivated, driven, and organised. Collaborative and open, with experience working with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams preferred. A proven and own network of well-established e-commerce and fintech partners is imperative.
