Volunteer Events Producer

What will you be doing?

Create a calendar identifying key dates for various cultural celebrations and festivals, including world culture festivals and multicultural events. Tailor each event to reflect the unique aspects of different cultures, including food, music, and traditional attire. Logistics and Permit Coordination: Ensure that necessary logistics and permits are in place for the event. Involve local communities to enhance authenticity and involvement in the event. Event Execution: Oversee the execution of the event, including:

Stage Management: Coordinate the setup and operation of stages, sound, and lighting systems. Audiovisual Technology: Ensure seamless integration of audiovisual technology, including televised events and broadcasts. Program Coordination: Coordinate the event program, including design, food, and activities, to deliver a memorable and meaningful experience to attendees. Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential issues, such as miscues, to ensure a smooth event delivery.

Key Skills:

Desirable Experience:

Post-secondary degree in public relations, marketing, or hospitality management Certifications in event planning from reputable institutions like the Special Events Institute Professional event management experience
