What will you be doing?
Are you passionate about organising information to create intuitive, accessible experiences? The Criminal Justice Hub is seeking a volunteer Senior Information Architect to shape the structure and flow of our online resource platform. As a key member of our team, you’ll help ensure that individuals navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system in England and Wales can easily find and understand the resources they need. In this role, you will:
Design and implement information architecture strategies that support easy navigation and accessibility. Conduct content audits and analysis to improve content structure, categorisation, and discoverability. Collaborate closely with content designers, user researchers, and project managers to align architecture with user needs and platform goals. Develop sitemaps, wireframes, and user flows to establish a clear and logical layout for all content. Advocate for best practices in information architecture and contribute to ongoing improvements in platform usability and accessibility.
