Role Summary

  • Co-create marketing strategies and deliver engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Deliver marketing communications for big engagement programmes and strategic partnerships
  • Support the creation of engaging messaging, content and creative for our target market
  • Work closely with business leaders on market research, proposals, tenders and presentation decks
  • Manage relationships with external agencies such as designers, PR, social media and membership associations

Role Requirements

  • Either a degree or a CIM marketing qualification
  • Significant marketing delivery experience, particularly in B2B environments
  • Understanding of how to develop marketing strategies and apply them for effective delivery
  • Event management experience, with a focus on building c-suite relationships
  • Depth in at least one creative skill (design, visual storytelling, copywriting)
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills
  • A results-focused mindset

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join us on a fixed term contract to support the development of marketing strategies and lead the delivery of our activities across our central marketing and brand team. Someone who is looking for a stretching marketing role working alongside our business leadership and marketing team to design and deliver creative and compelling marketing that supports growth by creating and developing deep relationships and engagement with senior individuals across our target markets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a track record of delivering impactful marketing in B2B professional services environments.

Your role as Senior Marketing Executive – Central Marketing and Brand

As Senior Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in our Central Marketing and Brand team working in partnership to deliver the following key responsibilities:

  • Co-create marketing strategies with oversight from senior marketing leads
  • Shape and deliver thought-provoking and engaging multi-channel marketing campaigns and activities to a high standard.
  • Deliver marketing communications for large engagement programmes and strategic partnerships that are instrumental to our growth. 
  • Support the creation of compelling messaging, content and creative that will appeal to and most importantly engage our target c-suite prospects. 
  • Effectively collaborate with colleagues from across the business and marketing team to deliver high quality marketing activities.
  • Work with business leaders to support with targeting opportunities, market research, proposals, tenders, and presentation decks for business development.
  • Coordinate relationships with external agencies, including designers, printers, PR, social media and association memberships.

Requirements

  • Degree preferred, although a CIM marketing qualification will be considered. 
  • Significant marketing delivery experience, with knowledge of key B2B marketing and BD tools/ channels.
  • An understanding of how to develop marketing strategies, and apply them to high quality marketing delivery. 
  • Professional event management experience, with a focus on designing experiences and engagements which build and develop c-suite relationships.
  • Depth in one or more creative skills (design, visual storytelling, copywriting).
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and developing public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills. 
  • The ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and inspire confidence in others.
  • Results-focused, resilient and tenacious in the pursuit of objectives and goals.
