The role

As a QA Engineer at Fanalysis, you'll be essential in ensuring our platform delivers exceptional experiences to passionate football fans across all touchpoints. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to maintain the highest quality standards as we build features that resonate with real supporters.

Responsibilities

  • Performing comprehensive manual testing across iOS and Android applications to ensure optimal user experiences
  • Designing and executing detailed test cases, scenarios, and testing protocols for mobile and web platforms
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Supporting automation initiatives to expand test coverage and improve testing efficiency
  • Conducting thorough regression testing to maintain system stability following updates and releases
  • Testing and validating backend services, APIs, and system integrations
  • Tracking and managing defects through resolution, ensuring timely fixes and quality delivery
  • Analyzing test results and providing actionable insights to improve product quality
  • Working with cross-functional teams to facilitate comprehensive end-to-end testing
  • Maintaining and updating testing documentation to reflect current processes and standards
  • Prioritizing testing activities to meet project timelines and quality objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance testing methodologies and recommending process improvements

About you

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
  • Strong experience testing iOS and Android applications across different devices and operating system versions
  • Proficiency in creating automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or equivalent frameworks
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and industry best practices
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and C#
  • Experience working effectively in agile, fast-moving startup environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve project objectives
  • Experience with API testing and understanding of system integrations
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering and product teams
  • Passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences that delight users

This is a full-time role based in London. Our office is in Soho and we believe in the benefits of working together, so ideally you’d be able to join us in the office at least 3 days a week.
