The role
We’re looking for a business development executive who is excited and energised by connecting with people, spotting opportunities, following up leads, and seeing efforts turn into tangible results.
This is a hands on, high energy position where your focus will be on execution, momentum and impact.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify new opportunities, organisations and contacts that align with our strategy
- Support and execute outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, events, etc.) - send regular messages to connect and find new opportunities
- Maintain and update our CRM to ensure data is clear and up to date
- Track progress against targets and share regular insights with the team
- Follow up on leads, enquiries and opportunities with warmth and professionalism
- Create accountability for the wider Higson team around their reach out goals
- Attend regular networking events to find new opportunities
- Manage and nurture relationships with prospective opportunities
- Represent Higson - bring fresh energy, warmth and curiosity to every interaction

Salary is £26,000-38,000 (full time) depending on experience. We are open to part-time and full-time applicants.
