An exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven company working to combat toxic, sedentary lifestyles. As a Quality Controller for North Vietnam, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining product standards, inspecting finished orders, and working closely with the factory on any issues.
Role Summary:
- Understand product standards and requirements
- Approve incoming leathers and other components when factory highlights issues
- Maintain and enforce brand standards
- Inspect finished orders to meet Brand expectations
- Maintain records and reports related to the role
- Attend pre-production meetings and ensure follow-ups
Role Requirements:
- Fluency in English- verbal and written
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with QC Policy, Strategy and Brand quality standards
- Experience with Inspection processes, sampling plans and associated paperwork
- Understanding of the commercialization process and daily Lab testing requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and make sound decisions under pressure

As the Quality Controller for North Vietnam you'll be a pivotal member of the team and here's what you'll be doing:
- Understand the product standards andrequirements during commercialization.
- Approve all incoming leathers.
- Approve other materials and componentswhen factory highlights issues.
- Monitor the process to maintain the Brandstandards.
- Inspect a percentage of all finishedorders and ensure they meet the Brands expectations.
- Do a comparative fit on adult shoes.
- Maintain records and reports relating tothe above and share with relevant stakeholders
- Work with the factory to resolve anyissues.
- Be aware of what orders are due to beshipped and of any issues likely to delay orders.
- Attend the Pre-production meeting with the Factory and productionto ensure that any issues which arise from these meetings are followed uponce the shoes go to production.
- Make sure all leathers arriving meet brand`s standards.
- Make commercial decisions on any materials and components where thefactory is unsure.
- Check production lines to make sure methods and settings are toVivobarefoot standards.
- Check product at the end of each assembly line to ensure they matchconfirmation shoes.
- Check lab testing results daily to ensure correct action is taken.
- Attend daily fit test on adult products.
- Inspect all finished orders.
And here's the experience you need to apply:
- Fluent in the English language including written communication.
- Willing to travel.
- Experience in QC Policy / Strategy / Brand quality standards.
- Experience in Inspection processes / sampling plans / associated paperwork.
- Experience in random sampling plans.
- Quality standards and fault grading experience.
- Understanding of the commercialization process.
- A working knowledge of the process control procedure and application.
- An understanding of the daily Lab testing requirements and reports.
- A basic understanding of the fitting process.
- Basic understanding of computer usage, email, excel, word.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels within the factory and Brand.
- Ability to make sound decisions and remain steadfast under pressure.
