Role Summary
- Be a crucial member of the Estate Team, supporting a wide range of stakeholders across RBG Kew.
- Perform maintenance tasks proactively and reactively, carrying out health and safety and compliance checks with accurate record keeping.
- Develop skills in basic building fabric and plumbing maintenance.

The role: As a Maintenance Assistant within the Estate department, you will be a vital part of the Estate Team, providing support to the wider team and stakeholders across the RBG Kew. Your responsibilities will include both reactive and pre-planned maintenance tasks, health and safety, and compliance checks with accurate record keeping. You should bring skills in basic building fabric and plumbing maintenance through Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance tasks and a willingness to learn new skills.
Job requirements: This role will be engaged on an annualised hours contract working a 5 over 7-day shift rota. Candidates should have the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and have a willingness to learn new skills.
