Digital Design Lead

We are looking for someone who lives, eats and breathes (and speaks) fluent digital.

Who we are:

Originzone are an established company offering the full range of print and design services to our many and varied clients. With a rebrand in the offing focussing on transforming businesses through creativity, and an award-winning creative director onboard we are looking for a digital design/ technical lead excited by the prospect of stretching themselves and growing with us. A self-starter who wants to roll up their sleeves and build a team around them.

What you will be doing:

Working closely with our digital product manager you will be leading technical development of our client’s digital profiles including website builds.

Below are some skills we're on the lookout for:

  • CSS & HTML skills
  • Experience of using JavaScript
  • WooCommerce experience
  • Comfortable building within the WordPress ecosystem
  • Experience with Elementor

Nice to have skills:

  • PHP, MYSQL experience
  • SEO skills
  • Experience of using Composer

And you?

  • A great communicator and team player
  • Eager to learn and demonstrate initiative

You could be in London and thinking of relocating or in the West Country and willing to work in Cheltenham for at least 3 days a week. Or even living in a static caravan somewhere off the A40, it doesn’t matter, it’s your work that will separate you from the crowd and the chance to do more and better work with us that will interest you.

Our interview process typically consists of an initial phone screen, a review of 2 examples of your best work. Interview with the hiring manager and a task, followed by a final interview with other members of the team.
