About the role

As a Community and Social Media Executive in the Brand and Communities team, your role is responsible for engaging with and growing the communities at WiredScore. 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work within the global marketing team to build our brand across social media, make the different communities WiredScore works with become advocates and support the BC team in the execution of the wider marketing strategy.  


  • Own all communication with WiredScore communities; including the WiredScore Smart Council and Research Advisors, Accredited Professionals and the SmartScore vendor marketplace.
  • Work with the Growth Markets team and AP Programme Managers on improving WiredScore AP journeys, improving adoption of their accreditation, increasing retention, making them love WiredScore. This may also include assisting with photo and video shoots, writing and scheduling emails, owning the creation of AP specific collateral, engaging with APs on social media and updating the WiredScore website. 
  • Work closely with the SmartScore Product Manager and wider smart stakeholders in developing a vendor ecosystem in LinkedIn and a regular communications plan for the group. 
  • Work closely with the SmartScore Product Manager to ensure the WiredScore Smart Council members and Research Advisors are being communicated with regularly, providing support where needed. 
  • Work closely with the two Digital Marketing Managers on improving the messaging in outbound acquisition campaigns and content on our website to ensure we are attracting more APs and growing our AP network. 
  • Develop, manage and run the WiredScore social media accounts, pages and groups, seeking new ways in which to build our audience and engage with them. 
  • Set the social media vision and strategy and run all channels according to it. 
  • Respond to customers’ comments and queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare detailed monthly reports on WiredScore’s social media activity and seek ways in which to improve what we do.
  • Actively share and engage with internal teams on relevant topics that come up across social media. 
  • Work with the wider marketing team and other internal teams to support larger initiatives and run campaigns by creating engaging content, including text, images and videos, across various social media platforms. 
  • Listen and report on how our brand is portrayed in social media and by our communities by using listening tools that monitor feedback and engagement. 
  • Demonstrate 'insatiable curiosity' about our members and product and act as a Community contributor.
  • Working closely together with the marketing team, especially Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Managers and PR Managers to ensure our brand is being portrayed accurately across all external owned channels. 

Skills and Experience

  • 3-4 years experience in social media or community management
  • An in depth understanding of social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram.
  • Extensive experience of driving community engagement through social media.
  • Ability to manage a 24/7 social media rota for multiple markets across different time zones.
  • Experience with using and reporting via online tools that support social media management, such as Google Analytics, SEM rush, linktree and others. 
  • Hands on experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online group, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter).
  • Skilled writer and content creator.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self motivated with a desire to improve.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get work done with minimal supervision.
