Growth Marketing Manager

Purpose-driven flexible workspace provider looking for an ambitious growth-marketer to power acquisition strategy

The role:  

To build and manage a marketing CRM (preferably through Hubspot). The role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for data, and success will be measured by lead acquisition numbers, conversion, and optimisation.  

The role will work closely with the CMO to deliver strategic and on-brand campaigns which speak directly to the target audiences of specific sites, and the Head of Sales to ensure that leads are effectively nurtured and converted into sales prospects.

You will deliver this by (responsibilities/duties)  

  • Feeding a healthy sales pipeline with qualified marketing leads across our sites 
  • Managing effective (on-brand) lead-generation campaigns driven by audience insight and research
  • Developing, managing, and optimising our paid advertisement strategy, across search, review sites and social 
  • Building and managing all CRM campaigns for leads across the customer journey – email, website, social, tour, etc   
  • Working with the Head of Sales, to oversee internal sales communication for x+y site teams 
  • Working with the CMO and Community Engagement Manager to monitor and improve the performance of the x+why website and content, monitoring website CRO and lead funnels, as well as managing new feature implementations, design changes, and SEO optimisation 
  • Working with the site teams to create local digital and printed marketing collateral, including brochures and presentations, merchandising etc - using existing brand guidelines, templates and partners  
  • Understanding all other internal departments' marketing needs and actively communicating with them to ensure smooth cross departmental collaboration and marketing support when needed 
  • Completing competitor analysis within the flexible workspace and hospitality industries 
  • Becoming the in-house expert on how to break into new, promising markets and audience groups 
  • Researching and setting up mutually-beneficial partnerships to drive leads 
  • Analysing data to monitor revenue performance and uncover areas for improvement. Reporting on lead generation performance, pulling out key trends and insight 
  • Developing clear campaign KPIs, updating reports and monitoring performance of all direct marketing activities, presenting monthly/quarterly results to the wider Team 
  • Managing the budget for lead generation by site, ensuring activity returns on investment 
  • Ensuring best practice and processes are followed in line with x+why standards 

The Person

Experience -

  • Demonstrable experience working in a growth/demand gen role with a successful track record of helping to grow quality leads. 
  • An effective strategist, able to create demand generation campaigns to meet business goals 
  • Prior experience of working in a start-up/SME

Knowledge & Skills -

  • Deep knowledge of paid search and social strategies and marketing tools including: Google Ads and Analytics , Facebook Advertisement , Instagram, LinkedIn, Campaign Monitor/MailChimp, WordPress, InDesign (desirable) and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Experience of working with Hubspot  
  • Solid project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritise high impact activities, and keep (complex) projects moving forward. 
  • Brings forward new initiatives for marketing campaigns, both online and offline 
  • Uses data to test ideas and drive decisions 
  • Excellent written and spoken English
