We support women who have been raped or sexually assaulted by a stranger or someone known to them.

Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Service (South Buckinghamshire) (RSASS) are looking for an experienced Charity CEO to lead the development of the organisation combined with the operational leadership of its employees and volunteers.

This is a full time permanent role, provide leadership to the Rape and Sexual Assault Support Service (RSASS) ensuring it is well managed and administered, resilient and achieves its constitutional objectives within the strategic, policy and accountability framework as laid down by the board of trustees.

The initial focus will be the development of a strategic plan to support RSASS to gain re-accreditation and develop RSASS . This work will be done in conjunction with, and the support of, the Board of Trustees.  

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has overall responsibility for the day to day management of RSASS, it’s staff, volunteers and services.  The CEO takes responsibility for managing the growth and performance of RSASS, as agreed with the board of trustees.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible to the RSASS board of trustees as a whole and is managed by the chair of the trustees on behalf of the board.

Together with the Chair the CEO will enable the board of trustees to fulfil its duties and responsibilities for the purpose of the governance of RSASS and ensure the board receive timely advice and appropriate information on all relevant matters.

This is a hugely rewarding role for someone who enjoys a challenge and can lead a full review of the organisation, which will result in an application for accreditation with RCEW.

The role is subject to receiving Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
